Maybe an electrical problem. Do any of the other lights do it?

Mine did the same thing. I had to put my key in the hole to unlock it while someone else opened the trunk. Then after that now I just leave it unlocked.

My husband bought me a 94 lexus gs300. We drove it back from Sacramento. The people told us it ran just fine and nothing wrong with it. Then the next day, we went to take off in the car and it would not start. Everything in the car turns on and works but the car doesnt turn over at all. No cranking or anything. He changed the whole starter, changed the battery terminals. It starts sometimes. But we noticed if we start it and move it only a short distance it will not turn back on for a few hours. I love this car! He is about to change the ignition switch. Could that be the problem? He also can hear a clicking sound in the relay box.

I have a lexus GS300 94. My husband bought it for me from Sac. I drove it home just fine. Now it only starts sometimes. My husband put a new starter and battery terminals. The lights, radio and ac and everything inside the car turns on and works but the car is not turning over or cranking at all. There is a clicking noise in the fuse box. We own Hondas and Im starting to think I should stick with those. I really love the lexus gs though! any help please!

Will a 93 lexus es interchange with a 94 gs300? Im trying to change the ignition relay switch.

I have a 94 lexus gs300. Sometimes when we start the car, or move it a short distance, it is not cranking over. All the lights, radio and everything inside the car comes on. No light dimming. Just changed the starter. Changed the ignition 2 relays and it worked for awhile and then we moved it a short distance again this morning and its not cranking over again. It doesnt crank over at all. My husband can hear a clicking of the relay in the fuse box when the car is being turned on but that is it.
