2000 RX300 110,000 miles Have faithfully had all the maintenance done with it since day 1 at the dealer in Beaverton, OR except for one oil change at Albuquercue and 3 other at JiffyLube when on the road. Tran fluid has been changed every 15,000 miles. Dealer says they've never cleaned the screen on the trans though or actually flushed the transmission. Had some major work done last year, something with gaskets and seals on the engine (don't have the receipt nearby so if you want more details, let me know). Now transmission seems to be failing, but the dealer's diagnostics show it's fine. Will slip and chug when cold in the morning going into first. This week, wouldn't do anything when trying to backup. I could go forward a foot to the curb, punched the ECT and power traction button off and on a few times, then it finally moved in reverse. Dealer says not to worry and to sign up for AAA. Like that's gonna help if I'm on a trip out to eastern Oregon or Idaho someday soon.
