  1. Yeh dealers like to poster a good sale on their so called rim.... they do give you a better than stock look, but often times the rim is not worth what they marked it up to be! Rims do make or break the looks of a nice car. I would like to see you get you own set that fits the look you like! for the time, they are not bad and it's nice to know the owner serviced it, took care of it, and kept it a nice ride! The dealers are getting better equipment and options now, but you will do good to look around, do your homework and check out a few rides you like....My wife hates my GS! it is not even close to stock, and she will not be seen in it. Maybe it's the tribals? too low? I am not sure!

  2. Goon night James....Who knows what they are? The spacing ( offset ) is ment to run a wider or deeper rim on the rear than the front. This is very common on rear drive cars. Your local dealers can help with the replacements. I would check some aftermarket shops that has worked on your year and type to see what is the best options are. Sport tires will not require rotation if they are directional.

  3. Man...they do sound nice eh! You can not say oh...sounds like a nice muff, you know sopin hapnin unda the hood....ya know! you may want to think twice about reven next to him? but...me I give em a run @ 12 lbs boost and a rear end to shoot out tha hole! and smile! :D

  4. I have the GS. I run the SRT stage 3 turbo. Mine comes in at 2200 rpm and pulls strong through the band. Tuning is able to get the boost in where you like ( at the right shop ) who knows what the :censored: their doing. Turbo runs smooth like glass on the 2jz. Like above the motor was ment to be turbo charged. I run up to 12 lbs boost. I have had to add other support goodies to do that but man, your cheaks feel it ( both sets )!

  5. Nothing? Some areas of the city you cant have one for space reasons. Some folks live in a fenced security complex. I have a garage that fit's 3 cars....special eh! Well, my baby gets the best spot next to the vac, cleaners and wash area just in the event it get's dirty! I do not have a Lexus emblem a one. I even shaved the inner tail lights. I added the Japan name for the car ( Aristo ) in the center just below the Junction Produce emblem form Japan ( where the L was ). I like to keep people asking ( what kind of car is that) But....I have custom painted tribals in two tone, lowered it, added turbo, rear end, rims tires, painted the insides to match, Super AFC, no cats, custom deck, speakers and am looking to re-leather the seats two toned silver and black soon. The body kit is from MAC ( Japanese item ) and with turbo of course you need some big pipes and muffs.....The non fleshy ones guys! So..... Most folks know the look of the car, do what makes it your ride! who cares what the dude next door is doing. NO HOLES are in the emblems for sure......People at all levels are here posting. Each has their ideas. :D

  6. What body part will you be willing to give? How about the left :censored: ? A wonderful company in Japan has the half red clears in both the 98 style and the 03 type. A company I know can also custom cut and give you what you want........for a price, and a few months! ALL OVER the big wa wa....crazy eh! Junction Produce has the helf and half for around 1200.00 greens ( ouch :chairshot: ) Artisan Spirits can cut what you want! it too is around 1100.00 ! Japan can do this easy but you will need to wire your cash to their account and wait for the order about 2 months. Oh if you cut and go with a clear, smoked or other color you will need to send them yours to cut......or get another pair to send around 300~400.00 ? good luck man...I will check out the UK link- I too have been looking now for a year.

  7. :o Oh hey...I am an old guy! Buttt..... stock stinks...just go for the gusto! I agree, do more if you are going to add items like that! I hate the I have a muff as big as :censored: out the rear with NO POWER to back it, or looks to go with it...... If you have done some other mods since your post....good for you. I would like to tip my hat to the VIP Style!

Have a good one! Lexo

  8. :D Hey, great choice of car.....I did not like the ride I got on my factory tires and rims. I have 20" but I found I liked the feel of 18's with NITTO's as well. I use the 18's on the track..... Be sure your tires are rated 120~140 mph + type A.

Rims for your car can also be set up with the offset wider for the rear. The tire ( if a sport tire ) can also be wider in the rear than the front. Gives the car a sporty look. Helps with grip as well.

Les Swabb has great deals, and local wise may be able to service you well, and can help with what works best. Do your research! Some companies like L-Sportline have the verious offset and packages that work well. Road side service and warranty's are good to have.....On line may not provide a service of that type. If you stick with stock a local company will help. I have not paid over 200.00 greens for factory, most should be around 140? if that? I live in Utah.....crap here is cheaper than alot of states. Good Luck! B)

  9. With any car, a little TLC goes a long way! Used cars are hard, just cuz the previous owner may not have serviced the car. Driving conditions may have also been a major factor in the care of the car. Do your home work on the model. All years and select cars may have problems. Ask questions to the dealer or person. Lexus is a nice name, but it's all Toyota! The motor has been in service in the ariso and other cars for years in Japan. It is a good motor. I have a GS300 99.... I am throwing 345 RWHP to the poor girl and she runs great! My other buddies in our club has a 95 and a 94 GS. Out side of the general up keep, no major issues with drive train or motor! Oil changes, timing belts, plugs and breaks have been the few items changed or fixed. :D

  10. My GS did 155...My wife was in labor! the louder she cried and moaned the faster I went! Thank god it was 3:55 AM.... My son in the back seat said " Uh, dad your over 150-are we going to slow down?" Hell I drove 42 miles that way and made it to the Hospital in like 12 min? It was a good thing ! my baby girl was dilivered 3 min later in the hall for all to see..... :o

  11. I think that would be dorifto Gundai ! Mine was jacked too..... makes ya mad! I guess they cant buy the car so they take the mark? what the hell do they use it for? put on a kia? give it to their girl? I used an extra off my grill on my GS when I put on the rmm style.....good luck man! :P

  12. Hey, I would like to add a boost and oil gauge to my turbo GS. I am not sure however what AP is made for my car? I like the pillar look, but the ash tray is also a great place! Are there any options out there? Any kits available for easy install? Thanks guys...

  13. it is the *BLEEP*s! Japanese cars more luxury and a bit cheaper than the US....depends on years and models but dang! I lived in Nagoya for about 5 years. My wife is Japanese but she hates cars......WHAT A SIN! I had the Celcior ( LS 400 96) I did the Yakuza style thingy to it! It was sad to sell and move back! I too use dental floss and a blow dryer helps on colder days. I took of the GS300 Lexus and added the Aristo.... I have a turbo and thought about using the V300 but na! Good luck with the change.....If you brake one you can always get another from Lexus or junk yard! :P

  14. I think the factory amp is only 15 wt or so...... Make sure you get an open air style or it won't sound good. If you put too much power to the speaker with an external amp it will rattle your back deck lid and sound like crap! Look into other options at a sound insaller to see whats best for your needs. See ya! :P

  15. It may also be your reminder to have the 90,000 mile tune up. Often times this will include changing the timing belt, fluids, trans and drive line check. If the car is driving fine and no leaks ro performance issues, then have it looked at as soon as you can to avoid any major problems. You are fine to wait a little bit if it is the reminder to tune up, but you will not know until you go and plug in to see at the dealer or shop. ckeck to see if any fluids are leaking and get you an appointment! :P
