I have black leather seats and clean them with regular diluted Zero Woolite soap in a spray bottle. Always clean properly before applying conditioner, i use Lexol glycerin, not oily and water soluble. I repeat 4 times a year. Leatherique is also a very good option, but i would use it for heavy cleaning and for old leather.

I've just installed the lower door chrome trims from carid, if you want some tips and help, shoot me a pm. Quality wise of the material is about 90%, the cut is not perfect and the chrome shine is somehow different from the window chrome trims, but overall, it still maintain the classy style. Listen to bcES350, he gave me some good tips on the install.

NV008-06: Rattle Noise from Headliner Area: States: Some customers may experience a buzz or slight rattle noise from the rear portion of the headliner when the vehicle hits small sharp bumps. It has been determined that the source of such a rattle may be the Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS) antenna located above the headliner between the rear of the sliding roof opening and the top of the back glass. ************************************* I notice that my ES 2008 is having this problem, It happen with i slam the doors, hit bumps, it is well located on that area since by tapping on it, the buzzing sound occurs. I've called Lexus and my model year is not aimed. Has anyone did the repair on that area and if it solved the problem. thank you.

I see what you mean, i did remove all 6 bolts that appears to hold the console down to the floor and i pretty much can shake the console side by side, but not remove it. I wonder if it is also held with clips. If the Toyota vehicules are also assemble like that, i may want to visit the forum to see how they do it.

First off, thank you very much for the diagram, it gave confident. Oddly, i try to do my best to remove like 40% of the pieces mentionned on the diagram, but still cannot remove the remaining 60% including the side trims off, it looks like it is plugged together in segments. My main objective of doing so is to find a place for the VML module mounting. I did find the 2 big bolts screwed on the floor inside the box compartment, but can't get onto the others screws.

I have the factory plan for removing the center console, but without some texts that goes with it, i cannot remove the console out from the floor board, can somebody help me ? I will need to remove it to hid my VAIS VML module since the usb cord will be coming out of the armrest compartment. thank you.

I've made the move and go ahead for the CarID one, it's in stainless with triple chrome plated compared with the RonUSA which is cheaper but it is simply polish to a chrome finish like. The guys on CarID are very helpful and they deducted a 10% off the already reduced price. A group buy is possible also if enough people are willing to go. I will let your guys know the final result. I conditionned and cleaned the seats often, but for in between usage, i wonder if there is a product that protect stains, but obviously, there is none. I've heard that people are using vinyl stain protectant instead and it often state that it is safe on leather. I don't want to try anything without being sure.

I've red like 10 times the Sonartech thread on modication to enable the music folders/maintenance/calendar/phone options while driving. I did the wiring modication to the letter, but for some reason, i only have access to the music folders while driving ???!!! Also, if the modification is done right, how can i tell that the DSL is not working: is it grayed out or i can push ON and OFF but i doesn't do anything. Please help ? thank you very much.

I don't have that problem, but i did some modification on my trunk lid to insulate sound, now that i've added approx 5lbs of wool, the lid shunt down with my piggy finger. Maybe on your case, adding more weight on the trunk lid would help.

I have the audio wiring diagram of the GS350 ML, but i wonder can i rely on it for a ES350 ML ? thank you in advance

Hello to all, I am in the process of changing what i can on my ES 350 UL, the audio seems to be the place to start. I have a set of Infinity Perfect Kappa component that i want to install in the doors of the ES as replacement of the 6x9 (of course new support will be added) and the new tweeters can go to the oem tweeters placement. This is what i have : http://www.productwiki.com/infinity-kappa-perfect-5-1/ I know that the factory amp is weak, but i've heard that the Infinity component can handle low wattage. So, what would be the best way to install it ? a) simply replace the speakers alone with the new one B) replace speakers and tweeters, but i have the crossovers that comes with it and i don't know the wiring to the factory amp to put into c) unplug the oem speakers and tweeters and install my component with an aftermarket amp (which i have) separately. I know a little bit about audio since i've installed some in my old car, but i'm not an expert. As per the OEM sub, i have a pretty good idea how to do it: remove the oem sub, install a RCA adaptor to the speakers wires and extend to the new sub amp and sub, of course, battery power line must be added. thank you in advance for your inputs.
