I just bought my first lexus today 01 gs 300 and it came with xtrememly nice mats and even one for the trunk the rubber mats can be gotten at shucks they wont be an exact fit but I personnaly have had both cloth and rubber matts and the cloth nice clean up with any carpet shampoo-er...lexus goes to apeal to a luxury class and probably wouldn't offer them because the lack of interest....i personally prefer cloth matts your feet slip on the rubber ones

ok today i became a lexus owner i want to add those rain blockers... you know that go on the door's so you can crack you window with out getting wet....I need to know if that will hurt my car value????? I'm really not sure if those things are availble even for a lexus...my husband says do i really want to do that to a lexus....well do i? :chairshot:

I can't tell ya how much I really appericate and enjoy reading all of your responses....i know that lexus owners are thought of as , bright and intelligent , succesful and wise...and if you knew me that discription doesn't fit. I'm thought as of spit, fire, ignorate and trouble I feel unworthy of driving a lexus and that it is soooo unnecessary. I delivered the check to the dealer.. dumped my 01 caravan and smiling from ear to ear. I bought it eight grand plus back of book...I'm in shock...I'm a lexus owner

well I did it.....I'm a lexus owner....I needed the strong book and when I searched they fetch the full 30...other dealers only wanted to give me 7 for a trade that i owed 16,500 for....I'm shocked and excited....i think i will be very happy i love it. I always enjoy getting other peoples opinion thank you all very much. :)

yes it does help, thank you so much...it's hard for me to spend this kind of money on a car...i'm tired of the problems i had with my 01 caravan..had to replace transmission at 55,000 and a hugh list of other problem..i want dependable...i was asked if i'm buy it because it's a lexus....nope i'm buying inspite the fact it's a lexus..i don't want to be thought of as a snob

I tried asking about the deal if it was worth the money and no one responded yet. So maybe i possed the question wrong. Are lexus's worth all the money? what kind of problems do they have? Is here any known problems on the gs300. I am supposed to sign papers today to make it mine is there any reason I shouldn't????? thanks in advance to anyone who can help I know nothing about lexus.

i am in the process of purchasing an 01 gs 300 for 23,000 i have an 01 caravan that i owe 16,435 they are giving me about 10 the bottom line is me finance 29,815 +tx & lcns I called lexus they verified that all services have been done the maintance record is a dream come true the last full inspection was at 41,000 and it got a clean bill of health....it's burgundy and I think i'm in love...is there anything that i should know before I jump into the swimming pool? is there water in it? is this a great car worth owing 30,000 for
