  2. the dealership i use in michigan charge $50 for my oil change on my 06 gs300 but they are 25 min away and i know i can do it myself if i knew where that dang oil filter is
  3. i just got jealous makes me wanna get a new paint job with black rims :(
  4. tints on your windows im gonna do that soon i just got mine last week ;)
  5. Congrats on the new car. Your car has about the same milage and options as mine, so it gives me some idea of what my car is worth (though after subtracting the dealers markup, I'd get killed if I traded it in). Anyway, the navigation issue you're talking about is with the screen - even if you upgrade the software/DVD, it'll be the same. The problem is that the resolution on the screen is too low - something they improved with the 2007 model, I believe. I've been trying to find a way to replace the screen without replacing the whole unit, which is a costly proposition, but haven't found anything yet. Enjoy your new car! thanks for your response. i just hope there's some way...later that we can change the screen for a better resolution. right now i like the bypass feature that you can't do with the newer models. now that you mention the price and miles you got your car for i feel like i kinda got ripped off.. i just bought my 06 gs300 last week with a 3 yr/75k mile warranty for $33000 the only diff is mine had 26k miles and mine was black on beige :(
  6. did either car have any mods or were they both stock??
  7. I just filled up on the way home tonight. I paid $2.95/g. for 93 octane and pumped 15.35 gallons giving me a total of $45.28. I noticed that the 87 octane was $2.79/g, so had I used that my total would have been $42.83 This gives me a difference of $2.45 which is basically the cost of a cup of coffee. My piece of mind is worth that. I fill up on average about once every 5-6 days, so over the course of a year filling up with 93 octane cost me ~$165 more than if I had filled up with 87 octane. Hardly even worth posting about. steviej i agree its not worth the risk of getting a problem in your engine or trans even if there is a 1% chance a couple bucks still is not worth it, your driving a lexus B)
