I'm pretty sure I've read that once you upgrade to 7.1 or newer the override is no longer possible. You can think the Lexus legal team and the litigious society we live in for that. The only way to bypass after the upgrade is to purchase proprietary 3rd party hardware (prestigious society) or do a "hack".

Might be wise to get your alternator checked. I had a Landrover Discovery with a bad voltage regulator on the alternator that had symptoms similar to what you listed.

2004 Blizzard Pearl - 44K miles ML, NAV, 3rd row, dealer service records every 5K miles, the rear seat audio remote was still sealed in plastic.....we love it!!!

I'm looking at purchasing some headrest dvd monitors for my 04 GX. Vizualogic, Myron Davis, Invision and Rosen all advertise original color match, but at a cost of $1300+. Has anybody tried any of the cheaper monitors (Soundstream http://www.soundstream.com/Video%20Product...ed_headrest.htm , universal fits http://www.qualitymobilevideo.com/universa...st-monitor.aspx or any of the ebay specials)? If so, how close do the monitors match the factory "Ivory" leather?
