97' Skipping Or Hesitation At Low End Speed

97' with 115,00 miles, At low speeds 40 to 50 mph car run with a skip or surge/hesitation. Anything over 50 mph running on cruise no problem. I had new wires and plugs and even ran a bottle of cleaner through system. Ran fine for a couple of days now started again. Any suggestion

If it ran fine after cleaning then went back to its same problem , i would suggest a pro strenght machine like a motorvac to clean the engine properly as it is probably an intake carbon build up problem

Changed EGR valve, fixed.....

I believe that I am having the same exact issue with my car. Quick question because I want to get this right the first time.....Do I only need to buy the EGR Valve or do I also need to buy the Valve Position Sensor as well? I do not have any error reading being displayed inside of the vehicle as if the issue would be electrical.
