2015 RX350 Information Display Unit
Hello All, I have a 2015 RX350 and the Information Unit went "black." No display for radio, backup camera, climate, navigation and etc. I found a YouTube video from Viktor_G_Automotive consultant where he went thru a fairly easy process of removing the old unit and replacing it. My question is if I buy a salvaged unit on LKQ Online and use it as a replacement, do I need to go to Lexus Service to re-program it or "burn" in the new VIN #? The video author claims you do NOT have to do this, i.
RCF stereo issues- no sound
Recently, my 2016 RCF stereo went mute on me. No menu toggle beeps, no sound.... I was thinking of moving to an apple carplay conversion unit, but would like to know if I can fix this issue in the meantime...
key fob only works when car is cold ls400 v8
I have a 2000 ls400 with 156.000 miles my key fob will only work when car is cold. Same wiith wipers will only work on high wwhen car is warm and they will not return to the park position while car is warm. outside of these 2 flaws car is a cream puff
2002 ES300 Springs
Not the best way to start out meeting anyone who is still around, but I need some spring help with a restoration project on my 2002 ES300. Was lucky enough to find a elderly-owned 300 which *just* turned 180k (with a fresh TB/WP job!) and is in pretty exceptional condition for it's age. (pics will come soon) In going through replacing all of the crusty rubber I put on quick struts and am in the process of learning THAT lesson... Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
