JDMcG
my '99 GS300 has had a vibration/wobble in the steering at around 60-65 mph since it was new; balancing and different tires help but do not fix the problem; when the car was new I drove another brand new GS300 and it had the same problem; is this a design issue? has anyone had a similar problem? is there a fix
BA.
yes there is a fix and now I challenge you to try the search feature. :) for many, and this is from a very recent thread, there is a bushing on a part of the front suspension (radial arm?) that can wear out. try new ones for around $100 and a few hours of your time. lomis
I have also seen numerous articles about this relating to either tires slipping on the wheels or rear differential issues. I don't have the info handy, but a quick search on those topics should help.
