geordeek Posted July 15, 2022 Author Share Posted July 15, 2022 Thanks for the details and diagrams. This is exactly what I needed. I’ve changed oil seals before and they can be challenging. Since I posted the request for info I’ve had the lexus up on jack stands to check out the leaking seal that the dealer discovered. The so called leak is a minor weap that probably has been there for quite a while with no signs of wet fluid. The fluid level in the dif is fine from the last service. At this time I don’t plan to change the seal. I will continue to monitor it and if it worsens I’ll take action. Thanks again fot your help!
