I picked up our new '22  RX 350 on May 10th. When hand-washing it a week later, I noticed a broad splotch on the dashboard.I reported this by email to my sales rep. on May 24, and she said she was  on leave until 5/31. We spoke this morning, and I was asked why I didn't report this at time of delivery. I said I simply did not see it until I I washed the vehicle, and that I resented her implication that I damaged the dashboard. I will deal with her when I speak with the general manager.

My question is: Is anyone aware that Lexus applies a UV protective coating to the dashboards that makes them susceptible to marring?
