check the negative battery lead. i had a problem with this so i took the alternator off and had it checked but it was fine. i didnt feel like messing with the electrical system so i took it to the dealer and told them the problem was somewhere between the alternator and the battery. i even mentioned that they should check the ground wire first but they didnt. they ran check after check and i finally got it back a week later. who knows how many man hours they had in it. they finally said the ground had corroded and it was changed.
