ZoomZoom88 Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Hello Everyone,聽馃檧 I got done yesterday doing my 2nd power steering flush for my 2000 LX470 and when I woke up this morning, I saw oil under the car in front of the radiator area. I checked underneath and no leaks from the drain plug, oil filter or engine area. Seem there is oil on bottom side of the radiator in the back/front of it. I am guessing there is an oil coolant line(s) leaking, has anyone dealt with this before? Easy for me to repair?聽 聽
Lexus Owners Club Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 It could be a leak from the power steering cooler which may be built into the radiator (as are some auto trans coolers) or a PAS fluid pipe/hose around the engine bay
longmark999 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Is it coming from the driver's side, right under or near the oil filter?聽 If so do a search on "Toyota 2UZ-FE Engine Oil Leak" for a great video on where this leak originates.聽 I just replaced both of these seals myself and it's a PIA but definitely doable with the right tools.聽 I literally threw out the clothes I was wearing though.聽 It was that messy.
