PJ24 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Exact same problem with my 2020 250uxh. Dead this morning. This is, I think, the 3rd time. I'll call roadside in AM, but I have no idea why this is happening. I hand a newer battery. I only have under 40K miles. Feels ridiculous to hand no answers for this my supposed luxury car! I think Lexus should s address this program for their customers!! Unhappy!!
Martha6 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 You can't leave this car sitting for more than a few days. Car must be run to keep battery charge using kinetic energy. Otherwise it needs a plug installed and use of external portable battery charger.
Dean2 Posted October 13 Posted October 13 This in NOT a Lexus specific issue. Many hybrids have it. The pure EVs don't because they are plugged in twice a day anyhow or they don't work at all. If you keep falling for the Greenwash marketing nonsense you will continue to get ever less usable cars. 0W16 oil to gain .1 mpg, transmissions that run at 190 F for better mileage and on it goes. None of this stuff is making cars more reliable or less of a pain to own.

Jonesoks Posted November 7 Posted November 7 This just happened to me. 2020 UX 250h. I was told this is a known issue. Safety check done when car turned off. It gets caught in a loop and therefore drains the battery. Update down. Told it won’t happen again 🤞
