RBGallegos Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Hello fellow forum members. We are considering purchasing a 2011 RX 350 with a 4 cylinder engine. I believe the 6 cylinder is much more the standard and so we are concerned about the car being sluggish and not very responsive with a 4 cylinder. Does anyone have any experience with a 4 cylinder? We occasionally use the hitch, so were wondering if that would not work well either.
Jack Wolff Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 RX-350 was only produced w/ 3.5 liter 6-cyl engine.
RX400h Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 If you want the "best of both worlds", why not look at the RX450h hybrid. Its average fuel mileage (EPA-rated) is 29 versus only 20 or 21 for the RX350 of the same generation. So the RX450h is 45% more efficient, yet has plenty of power for towing.
