lasusa1 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 My GX460, 2010 was involved in a hit and run. My questions is the front drivers wheel took the majority of the impact from the hit & run plus the front drivetrain. Since the repairs where finished there is a slight vibration in the front end and light growling noise. Only repair to the drivetrain was an alignment. Does anyone know if this type of impact could damage bearings, bearing race, gears seals etc. Any input or advice would be helpful.
Lexus Owners Club Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Maybe consider that the driveshaft is slightly bent which would give a vibration from the imbalance.
uas4aec Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 bearings will be flatspotted with a hit on that wheel... it also growls.... i am replacing both my front wheel bearings and hubs next week.
