97 Es300 Cd Changer Plays Cdr?

Hi all,

I'm about to bid on a cd changer for an 97 ES300 on ebay, and was wondering if anyone knew if the changer play CDR? Also, I bought my ES300 used and the guy didn't buy the CD changer option. Will the wiring and wire harrness still be there? Thanks.

i ordered one (CD CHANGER) and i JUST got it today and all i have is CDR's i burned off of my computer in it and it works fine

yes the 1000.00 liost price es300 changer was made in japan by pioneer. pioneer perfdected and brought o market the laser disc in 1984. they then marketed the first home burner of cds in 1988. every pioneer cd changers can play cdrs because they werer the company that perfected them. they are now the best dvd burner. rest asuured pioneer cd changers made for your lexus can play cdrs.
