Coolant reservoir inside hose?

I bought a used 2008 Lexus ES 350 for my son driving to school.  As I don't see there is an inside hose connected underneath the coolant reservoir cap like many cars, Just wonder does this Lexus ES coolant reservoir cap should have an inside hose like the one in the picture?

I looked at a few photos and drawings of this tank but none showed any internal tubing. You can always call the parts department at the dealership and ask if their drawing shows any.
