Leahjoy0704 Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 My timing belt broke on my lexus rx300 had that fix..my car still wont start and now gas is flooding in my spark plugs...did a compression test when there was no gas in the 3 top spark plugs the compression was 150 to 170 then when the gas flowed into the spark plugs it was at 60...no knocking in the engine when trying to start it or before the timing belt broke car has new battery and i got the timing belt kit.. Car does have 173000
lenore Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 First welcome aboard, who did the timing belt.? Maybe it was not done properly.
Leahjoy0704 Posted October 10, 2019 Author Posted October 10, 2019 My husband did it...even if the timing was off would cause gas to flood the spark plugs
