sbalexus
1998 ES300 starts and dies when cold. I had his problem before and the dealer cleaned the IAC (idle air control) at a cost of $150. I most likely can do this myself, but not certain where it is located and my repair manual does not locate it for me. Another post of this problem indicated that that a fix was CRC air intake cleaner. Was this just presented to the engine through the intake, or was the part removed and cleaned? Thanks for assistance from anyone who knows where this part is located.
SKperformance
If you can't find the iacv you should start buy buying a service manual. It is a bypass valve fot the throttle plate so it is located beside the throttle plate.
