stu gibson Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 hello, I bought a certified 2016 is200t. It needs tires at 18000 miles (ouch). what can i buy that will give me 30,000 miles without harming ride quality and not be noisy?? thanks
MorrisGray Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Wow, I am sad to see no reply to your inquiry since April? I am shopping for a new car, considering the Lexus IS350. I don't think this will be the place I need to be to learn anything about the IS series. But I would like to know what tires you bought and how you like them. I would guess that your car came with summer performance tires which will wear out quickly when cold weather attacks the summer compound rubber and being performance tires mean they are soft and sticky in warm weather and would not last long anyway. Think of Nascar tires.
Sunamer_Z Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 Probably something like continentals dws06 would be fine. They are the softest among the ultra-high performance all season tires.
TOPENDMS Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 You should replace Lower Control Arm Bushing with stiffer GSF units. Tires you will only get 1/2 of the tire milage warranty at best with staggered tire sizes (can not rotate). Try to find tires with 50,000 or more mile warranty (25,000 for staggered)
