bludgeon Posted April 30, 2004 Share Posted April 30, 2004 I have a 2000 ES 300 and the if the dome light is set to door, it stays on even after closing the doors. Lexusfreak Posted April 30, 2004 Share Posted April 30, 2004 Blud, did you chect to see if the dome light will eventually go out after let'say 45 seconds to a minute after all doors have been closed? The car has a kind of "opera" lighting system with a delay after the doors are closed when getting out or accessing your keyless entry if it's set to "door" mode. Failing that, I had to have my entire "dome light assembly" replaced (under warranty) because my dome light was only working intermittantly on "door" mode so that might be a possibility as well.
