'91 ES250 timing belt question

Hello this is my first post on the forum. I own a 1991 es250. I would like to replace the timing belt and seals with water pump and thermostat. I can't figure out how to remove the cruise control actuator. I got the 3 bolts out, do I need to remove the electrical connectors to move the unit to the side? It is hard to pull out. Thanks
