2007 ES350: Auto lock continually clicking (engaging) even though the car is locked

2007 ES350: Auto lock is continually engaging with all the doors already locked while driving and when stopped. Tonight,  I was at the gas station left the keys in the cupholder, car was turned off, shut the door, and the doors locked on me.  I had to call AAA to unlock the door with a slim jim.  Getting very frustrated.  Have any of you experienced this and found a cure?

Hi Brint...welcome to the Forum

I would imagine this is a function that can easily be programmed out of the car...check with you local dealer or specialist to see if they can 'switch it off'

I agree with Trevor Catt. It sounds as if your door locks and the key fob need to be reprogramed.
