93 LS400

My 93 ls400 has a sputter .The car turns on fine just replaced the fuel pump and filter still doing the same thing.Any suggestions?

I suggest taking your LS to a Lexus dealer or an independent repair shop that specializes in Lexus and have the problem diagnosed.  Your "sputter" could be caused by a number of different components - no sense speculating and throwing money at it.

And long before suspecting the fuel pump since they do seem to last a very long time not just in LS's but in other cars too. One of the biggy's in these cars is the ECU capacitor problem. And yes it can be other things causing your problem as well, you need someone that knows how to trouble shoot to figure it out.
