engine problem

Have a 1992 SC 400 starting issue. The car will start at times, especially when its cold. Other times the car will not start...but it will turn over like it wants to start. Yet a second later, it will turn over for a couple of seconds and die out. Then the car will start up and idle great. All of this within 8 attempted starts? Have you had this and what was it? Sometimes a week or so it never happens, but lately more often. It has always started at some point.

Have you had the car checked out for fault codes as this sounds very much like a coolant temperature sensor (CTS) fault

Worth checking before throwing big money at the problem
