scoxen Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 For the 2nd time (don't ask me how, other than a combo of bad luck and irresponsibility!) the radio in my 2010 GS350 has stopped working due to a small amount of water seeping into it when a water bottle tipped over. My wife is going to kill me when she finds out that its happened again so I was hoping someone on here may have a replacement radio I could get at a reasonable cost or knew of some way this could be fixed. The first time around I had to get another radio as no one at the dealership or any audio store I went to had a clue as to how to repair it but I was fortunate to find a used one on Ebay that was OEM. The radio is the CD changer with Satellite but is not Levinson and I do have Nav. Any help or insight would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!
1990LS400 Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Google "Lexus radio repair" to find businesses that repair them. Car Stereo Help in Florida repaired mine some years back.
scoxen Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 Thanks so much! Believe it or not it miraculously came back to life yesterday afternoon! I did follow some advice I found online and disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected it to restart the system but I'm not sure if that did the trick or if it just dried out. In any event it works again which definitely makes me and my wife happy!
