Harv5-42 Posted March 21, 2016 Share Posted March 21, 2016 This morning my Brake warning light came on. I did not have my parking brake on when I parked for the night and I don't think I have used the parking brake in the last month. It is very flat around here. I set the parking brake and released it with no affect on the warning light. My brake fluid is right where it should be, mid-way between full and low. Is there anything else I should check? gbhrps Posted March 22, 2016 Share Posted March 22, 2016 harv5-42, In the past I've had this same issue on a 2004 Subaru. At first I thought there was a brake issue, but a simple topping up of brake fluid to the MAX line, cured the dash brake line issue. I'd sure try that before anything else.
