K&n Filters Ok To Use?

Coning up on time to replace filters. K&N brand filters just as good as Lexus OEM? For something as basic as these filters, I suspect OEM is not necessary.

Hi Glenn and welcome.

If you do a search of our data base you'll find several threads about this question. Earlier there were many owners who were stuck with K&N. But when Lexus came out in 2013 with a recommendation of 0-20w for my 2013, ES 350. it became pretty clear to me that the extra money for K&N would not give my baby any more protection.

I use K&N oil and air filters in all of my vehicles. Excellent choice.
