laserron
Hi All, Looking for advice on the following. Coming home after 13 miles on the interstate. When I go into the garage and turn the steering wheel, then the engine shakes like the belt may be slipping. Does the same going forward or backward. Is this a belt or belt tensioner issue? Do not notice this problem in the morning when coming out of the garage. Which one of you has seen this before and can recommend a fix!! Thank you LaserRon 93 LS400 91 325i
K9crew
Ron, When you turn the steering wheel you're putting a load on the engine. The Air Control Valve is suposed to increase the idle speed under heavy load (such as turning the wheel when moving slowly or not moving at all). My guess is the ACV is defective/blocked. :)
