X99es300X Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Hey guys so I have a 99es 300, I took off the right throttle body and also the ldle air controller underneath it. I cleaned both of them and when I started to put them back together I noticed the little black thing that controls the throttle flap to open and close I believe I put that on wrong some how. I remember I had to turn it a little bit to get the metal pin to go inside it and then turn it a bit to align back up and screw it in. I'm guessing that might be my problem. But after all that I put it all together started the car and in park and neutral it idles high at about 2k rpm and goes down to about 1k-1,100 rpm Please let me know what I should try or if you know what it is.
