FRAZE Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Hi, Glad to have found this forum. I've bought a second hand RX 350 model 2007 from a guy who purchased it from the US then brought it with him when he moved to the Middle East. That's why I need your help guys! I need to change urgently my 2 front axles but the original ones are very expensive here (almost 900US$ each just for the parts) . Then I've found some good alternatives on the web ( around 180$ for the pair even cheaper!). My question is, did anyone ever replaced his axles bought from these companies which produce "remanufactured OE" auto parts in the US? Did they fit (some of them are labelled "direct fit")? what about their resistance? Please give me your feedback. Thanks for your help
FRAZE Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Thank for your answer. Confusing. English isn't my mother tongue. Please see in the attachment
RX400h Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Yes, those appear to be CV joints. I have bought remanufactured CV joint (for older cars) through automotive repair shops and never had a problem with them. Make sure that there is a warranty.
