oxfordlexusman
I keep getting the P1135 code. Have changed out the O2 Sensor twice and still get the code. The engine runs fine and there doesn't appear to be any loss in fuel MPG. Any ideas how to get this code to "go away"? Any way to defeat this code/make the computer ignore? Thanks for any insight !! VBdenny
Codes were designed to make sure you bring your vehicle back to them dealer for work. And it works.
VBdenny
My CEL in my Nissan Frontier has been on for over a decade since I put the Flowmaster exhaust on the truck. Sometimes I shut it off with my scanner, other times it even goes off by itself. Problem seems to be variances in the codes for the exhaust monitoring were too tightly set and with the Flowmaster, it trips the catalytic efficiency readout.
