I have a 99 es300. I recently changed intake hoses and front brakes/tires. Shortly after check engine light/Trac control lights came on. Started throwing money at it. New plugs/coil packs/ fuel pump/ fuel filter/ nothing helps! I really love this car but if I can't figure this out the wife is gonna make me trade it in. PLEASE

evanferguson1982,

The most expensive way to fix anything is to throw parts at it, without knowing what the problem is to begin with.

Get the car to a good independent mechanic, and have him diagnose what the problem is. You obviously don't have the expertise to solve the issue, so find someone who does. An igniter system failure is just too vague. You may well have needed most of the parts you've replaced at this mileage, but don't make any more decisions until you absolutely know what has gone wrong.
