Hi All,

I also posted this in the general maintenance forum so sorry if you've read it. Just realized a GS owner would probably know the issue. So basically I left my GS in storage for over a year and returned to find a noise in the engine. I attached a video so you can see what I'm talking about. Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks!

Have you checked/changed the oil ? Power steering fluid ? etc... Run the AC ? Kind of sounds like upper engine, Hard to tell from here. Accessory belt dry ? Did you let the engine idle until full running temp ?

I let the car warm up but it still sounds the same. Oil looks fine and all other fluids. I will check the AC. I was thinking it could be the timing chain since the 2006 GS 300 has a chain instead of a timing belt.
