sizzler25 Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 Hey all, Newbie here. I was hoping I could find and answer to my ongoing stereo problem in my 99gs300 with nakamichi sound. Basically, at low volume levels, the front driver side will play at a significantly lower volume. At times it will even cut in and out. Not sure about the rear driver side, but the front is definitely not right. I've had the tweeter replaced and the amp replaced, but the problem is still there. Could the replacement amp be bad? Or maybe the head unit is the cause of it? Thanks everyone, Sizzler
PIONEERSUBY Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 IT DCOULD BE THE EQUALIZER. THE NAK HAS AN EQULIZER PLUGGED INTO THE CD CHANGER. ITS BEEN SQUEEZED INTO THE SPACE BEWHIND THE CD CHANGER. FOLOOEW THE BLUE CONNCTOR WIRING TO THE EQUALIZER AND YYOU WILL FIND THE PROBLEM. WATER GETS IN IT FROM THE EVAPORATOR WHICH IT WAS MOUNTED TOO CLOSE TOO,. THE PIONEER SYSTEM DOESNT HAVE AN NAKAMICHI EQUALIZER SP DOESNT HAVE THE PROBLEM ONMLY THE NAKAMICHI. WATER CAN GET INN THE CHANGER THAT WAY TOO.
