Gs400 & Sc400 Engine Swap ?

I recently blew my engine up on my 98 Gs400 . Is it possible to put in a 92 sc400 engine in my car ? Does these two cars have the same engine ?

I have never done such a swap but no, they are not the same engine. The 98 is much more sophisticated, electronics-wise and valve timing-wise. About the only thing that *might* swap out is the short block but even there, I would doubt it.

What did you 'blow' up in your engine?

Yea I think so 👎👎👎 . And someone was selling there engine from one . What about a 2000 gs ? Think it would work ?
