It doesn't seem that they offer this for LX

I am not sure I understand why you'd want to do this with a truck. You may consider 22' wheel disks instead. Or if you're still looking for wheel spacers, you can try a different brand which would support LX

I ran 1.25" double hub centric wheel spacers on my 2010 Land Cruiser, I too hated how the wheels were tucked up under it.

I just got another set from Trail Sport unlimited for my LX.

I should have them installed by sometime next week. The 1.25 worked perfect for curing that odd stance you mentioned without sticking them past the fenders on my LC. I am thinking I should get the same results with the LX.

They run about 170.00 a set from trail sport.

Thanks for the link Eugene looks like trackplus may have what I been looking for my Jeep as well as spacers for the LC/LXs .

Hi, cc1999, good to see that you are still up to it - don't you mind to post picture before and after?
Also, does the Trail Sport set in any event affect the LX's functionality of adjusting the height of the vehicle (via the switch by the gear lever)?

The only issue I have found so far with the LXs spacer setup , is th same one I had with the LCs. When in reverse backing up wheels turned full lock, I can here a slight rub on the iner fender area of the mudflap.

For the LX In high mode that would not happen, looked like plenty of clearance, in low I thimk would about the same as normal hight mode, it's a little snug around the iner fender portion of the front mud flaps.

I set the LX in each hight mode and turned the wheel full lock both ways. It should be fine in all hights, if that occasional situation that could cause that rubbing bothers you, it does appear to be part of the iner flap that doesn't seem to have much function, and could easily be trimmed off.

It really never bothered me on the LC, it will be fine on the LX.

cc1999, thank you for the posts, the pictures - and for the quick response!

I am afraid I cannot judge any material difference between the pictures of "before" and "with the spacer". Comparing your first three LX pictures to my LX (from comparable distance), I would say no material difference? (or maybe a difference within 1' or so?). Would than be a right perception?

As to the the last (fourth) LX picture (the "before"), this looks like showing the LX the H mode? (I cannot guess for the LC pics, as I had no experience with LC).

I am still continuing to wonder what extra height the spacers can bring, and how useful these can be. Do you do much of rock climbing? In my place, the largest challenge with GX/LX was in putting it on shafts in the snow. But heightening the truck almost always helped...

Maybe I should ask why do you need the spacers (e.g. you may be in the desert or something)?

The original post was asking about wheel spacers, because they didn't like how the wheels and tires were tucked way up under the body.

Which is what I have done to my LX and had them on my LC.

There must be some confusion, these do nothing for height. Wheel spaces are only for a wide track width.

I didn't have any good picks of the LX before I put the spacer on, there are plenty around the net of stock LXs though . Just Bing LX570 hit images tab.

The one pic I did find was in high mode so it didn't show off the improved stance near as much as wanted to show you.

If your looking for more height, I am not sure what you need other then some sort of lift kit, and with the LXs having the air suspension I am not sure there is a lift kit for them.

The OPs original question was the same reason I run the spacers, I don't care for how the wheels set way back to the inside of the wheelwell. The wheel spacers are 1.25" thick and mount to the wheel hub with a hub centric design both inside and out to maintain a stable smooth balance. I am certain they do make the both 200s LX/LCs more stable since they widen the track or stance by 2.5 inches. But again I use them solely for the purpose that I think they improve the overall appearance.

Many thanks, cc1999, I now got the point about the spacers (your post also explains the angles at which you took some of the LX pictures). I indeed originally sought this has something to do with the truck's height (re-read my message, to avoid any confusion - no irony was involved).

Though I cannot distinguish it on the pictures, extra 1.25" on each side makes sense to me. In theory, this should indeed improve the look of the car and its stability on the road.

I am not sure, though, if the non-spec extra width can affect the operation of the vehicle stability system somehow... Probably it should not, but I am no expert in how the electronic systems are designed... If you have any extra knowledge, please share.

And on a minor issue - does the increased width result in more mud spread to the body of the truck (I would assume the fenders are only designed for the spec width)?

In my remote place, I don't know anyone who went for spacers. But I saw some guys on the road who put extra-wide tires and rims on their trucks - they usually get full of dirt right out of parking...

Your sure welcome.

I have not had really any issues with running them. Other then the occasional minor mud flap rub on the inner fender in reveres with the steering wheel at full lock. That only occurs when running at normal or low ride height on the LX. The LC didn't have the adjustable height feature so it pretty much always rubbed a little in the reverse with the steering at full lock either right or left.

The tires still set inside the fenders, but are out closer to being flush now, then without the spacers where they are tucked excessively back inside in the fender.
