jlangst
I am new to the site and owning a Lexus and GX 460. My father-in-law, after no longer being able to drive, passed on his slightly used 2010 GX 460. It has 12K miles on it. Immaculate vehicle which has for the most part been sitting in the garage. The only thing I noticed which is perfect on this car is on the flip up back glass panel the hinges and bolts holding the glass is rusted. I can't imagine he had this thing sitting in the rain ever and likely didn't drive it much in the rain. But he could have put most of the mileage on it going to the car wash. Does moisture get into this area easily? It almost appears like the factory weather stripping around the flip up glass unit does not extend across the top of the glass per design. Anyone notice this on their vehicle? Thanks, A
MiguelA.
In my GX they look kind of dirty, maybe you want to put some lithium grease and keep them lubricated to keep the moisture off a little from the hinges.
