Tyrosman Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 RX300 SE-L (09/2003) - 2004 model.(UK) Has anyone experienced the following fault, or any ideas what the problem could be? No heat flow from passenger side heater vents (aircon OK). Driver side heater OK. Radiator coolant level full. If heating temperature controls are set to 'max hot' there is aslight smell coming from the driver vents but this goes completely as soon as soon as anothertemperature is selected. The cabin filter is new. There is no difference to these conditions whether the 'Dual' switch is set to independent or linked mode. Many thanks for any replies Barrie
James Horning Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Air mix damper position sensor . One on driver side , one on passenger side , check or compare operation while adjusting outlet temp. Also each vent has sensors , look for disconnected sensors .

Tyrosman Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 Many thanks James. I will try to find the sensor etc. location when the weather here improves. Otherwise I will get my local indy garage to sort it out for me. Barrie
