jafdem Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Hello all! Well I just purchased a 2001 IS300 a few weeks ago, and I don't think I will own anything but a Lexus for the rest of my life. I'm having a ton of fun finding all the cool modifications that are available for this model. On that note, I am not very car savvy when it comes to maintenance. Can somebody tell me how to replace the tail/stop light bulb? I started pulling things out through the trunk, but I'm not sure how far I need to go. I would appreciate the input.
bartkat Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I believe the outboard tail lights attach from the outside. Look for some covered screws near where the trunk lid closes near the lights. I think there are covers over these screws, maybe 3 on each side.
jafdem Posted March 11, 2004 Author Posted March 11, 2004 Thank you for the info. It was way easier than I thought.
