It still shifts and goes into all of the gears okay, but my wife brought it to my attention after I let a Marine returning from Afghanistan use my beautiful car for ten days. Easy fix? landar Posted November 3, 2012 Share Posted November 3, 2012 Dang those Marines returning from Afghanistan! They do not know how to be gentle with anything. Seriously, it was not the Marine that 'done' this. Just a worn bushing in the shift mechanism. Twenty years is your culprit. No 'easy' fix, but not extremely difficult either.
