James Horning Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 Try to diagnose the problem first. If it engages while slowly stopping ( ABS) cycle then it is possible that you have a broken tone ring at one of the rear drive axle shafts.with a high mileage car you will probably never get the sensors out to clean them, they rust into the knuckle .
