CatKing Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 hi, i had bought the RX330 2 weeks ago and has run 1000km only. i want to upgrade to 18" tire. is there anybody want to buy my original 17" tires?
SKperformance Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 how much are you looking to get you might want to list the size of the tires also as other non rx members might be interested.
CatKing Posted March 8, 2004 Author Posted March 8, 2004 hi, oh yes, please forgive a newbie. i'm going to sell the whole set of factory 17" tires with alloy rim that is P225/65R17 Tires all season. i cannot tell the price now since i do not have any reference and will seek advice from my dealer. thanks
SKperformance Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 no problem a dealer will tell you about $500 to replace a rim and the list price of the tire at the dealer . So a complete replacement for them at the dealer would be about $3000 well more than they are worth. Some where around $1000 - $1500 would work but the tires that high of a profile would not fit many cars.
CatKing Posted March 8, 2004 Author Posted March 8, 2004 hi, thanks for your reply. for the factory 18" tire with alloy rim of rx330 is cad$2098 at dealer. anyway would really think about is it worth the money or invest the money on other upgrade.
SKperformance Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 A nice set of 18's are nice but the money for a big tire like that might be expensive. It might be cheaper as strange as it sounds to get a set of 20's .As they have come down in price alot.
CatKing Posted March 9, 2004 Author Posted March 9, 2004 hi skperformance, i had seen the pics of your car and it is very great modification. can you tell me some place that i can buy some stuffs to dress up my car?
SKperformance Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Thanks i am glad you like my invention. But it is just that there is very little that is off the shelf for my car .Most of it i had to make and build. What are you looking for?
