Driver Side Outside Door Handle Dont Work

There is a clip wich lexus calls a "snap" that connect the rod to the out side door handle.

I am haveing a hard time finding one for the driverside for a 92 sc400.

Lexus wont sell just the snap you have to buy the handle. :(

So does anyone know were to find one our the part number for it?

I found a temp fix. I use a Hair pin like some do fo there hitch on there truck.

The size that fit was 5/64"x 1-9/16"

I hopen this help someone else. I will let you know if it ever breaks again.

If i do find the part i need i will keep it as a spear.

I have a 96 SC400 and had the same problem. The local Lexus parts man initially told me that I have to buy the whole thing. I told him that I have read in this forum that is not so. He then look the thing up and found it. It was something like $6-8.

I said the same thing to mine he told me that they dont sell it separate anymore

He even said you might get lucky at u pullet place. but none had any 92 to95 lexus sc400 in stock.

But i did find the stock number for 96 and up. Which 92 must had a diffrent part number. Becouse I went to a parts place online with the part number my model was not include in that part. They had a 90 Toyotas in that part number.

But I am in KY and this place is diferent. They are nice people here but more then half are stupid. Like my father said you can't fix stupid.
