oopsyadaisy Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I have a US 2004 GS430 car. In other words the kms are miles. BUT i live up here in canada. I want to upgrade my navi but to the newest version possible that my car will accept. Im tired of punching in things and it not being listed. FIrst of I dont know how. I heard that there is DVD under the passenger seat. What is the newest version allowable for my car and is this going to change the format or the look? Id be okay with that because if anyone here has this years navi, its very blazay. Plus if this is something I can do myself please let me know. And Im in b.c. so ignore the UTAH location. Thats not right.
1990LS400 Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 The following website shows the latest version available: http://www.lexusnavigation.com/index.php Installation instructions are at http://lexus.sewellparts.com/pdf/Navigation_System_Installation_Guide.pdf where you can also buy a new disk.
oopsyadaisy Posted April 27, 2012 Author Posted April 27, 2012 ? Remove front panel upper garnish? What is that. Is that something I can do?
1990LS400 Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I'm getting confused. The attached diagram shows the nav disk installed in a nav ECU in the trunk. Is there anything under the false floor on the right side of your trunk. Are there any GS ownwers on the forum?!?
