leeyoungkan Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 My 94 SC 300 engine jams after jogging with starter, I then rotate engine with socket and breaker bar in a CW rotation and it still jams, however, when I rotate ACW -- the engine turns ok. I suspect the serpentine belt tensioner to be the problem, as I could not release the tension to get the belt off. Anyone, had this experience?
lenore Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Maybe your timing belt broke and you are jamming it going in one direction and not in the other direction. Have you removed the cover to see if the belt is broken?
