Want to add an in-line connection for using ipod. Any suggestions on how I approach this?

There is a lengthy thread in the audio section of the Club Lexus forum about how to tap into the CD changer connector to install an RCA jack. I think it requires "playing" a blank CD while using the RCA jack.

A cleaner and inexpensive install is done by ebay vendor Factoryradios. They are California and will add an RCA jack to the front of almost any Lexus radio or add an RCA jack on a cable from the back of the radio so that the RCA jack can be put in the center console, glove compartment, etc. If I remember correctly, the Factoryradios method hacks into the FM section of the head unit and people have reported that the sound quality is as good as from tapping into the CD changer. I posted a photo and other information about this some time ago -- search this forum for "Factoryradios".
