dws
Any suggestions or help removing the Y-Pipe Converter on my RX300...? The problem I have is on the end up in the engine compartment and it's tight with no clearance to get the 2 rusted nuts off the bolts. I have tried PB spray, but don't have a torch. I bought a whole new exhaust system from Walker Exhaust, and replaced everything except this Y-Pipe converter. Then there's a big pin hole in the old Y-Pipe that I had forgotten about. My next step is to take it to a garage and have them remove everything and torch the old Y-Pipe off, but I would rather do it myself. Thanks !!! Have them heat up the bolts and then bang on the Ypipe to break the rust free around/underneath the bolt heads, douse with PB and remove them. Otherwise they'll need to be melted off with ye old torchomatic :)
